Our progress to date includes:
We redesigned preprocessing workflows and reduced preparation time from approximately 9 hours to ~2 hours in our current development system.
Selective Recovery Validation
We demonstrated early-stage structure-dependent recovery of higher-integrity collagen fractions.
Characterization studies completed for collagen I (FTIR + Control Assays + CD Spec)
Rheological studies begin shortly.
Purification Infrastructure:
We built a tangential flow filtration (TFF)-based downstream system to improve purity, consistency, and repeatability
Scale-up Logic:
We mapped a reactor → module → pilot architecture, creating a path toward distributed, scalable manufacturing from 100 kg/year → 2.2 tons/year
Market Pull:
We have received early interest from labs and users who need dependable collagen inputs for advanced applications.
We have initiated 3rd party validation protocol setup with SRM.
Why This Matters:
When critical materials become better, entire industries move faster.
Cheaper computing accelerated software.
Better batteries accelerated electric mobility.
Reliable cloud infrastructure accelerated startups.
We believe reliable biomaterials can accelerate the future of healthcare in the same way.
If collagen becomes faster to produce, more consistent, and more accessible:
Researchers iterate faster
Biomaterial startups reduce costs
New products become viable
Advanced healthcare becomes easier to build
We are marching briskly towards our goal and are aligning partners with our Vision!
